Blue and Green Spring Look

By qtli3027 On March 26, 2012 In You Tube Tutorials With 1 Comment Permanent Link to Blue and Green Spring LookPermalink

Here is another Spring Look for you to try out. Spring is one of my favorite times for makeup. Spring gives you the opportunity to wear very beautiful and bright colors on the eye area, and it just looks so amazing. This look is a little bit of a more dramatic spring look, and is great as an evening look. I really love this eyeshadow combination on brown eyes because the greens and blues give the eyes a very exotic look. Let me know what you guys think. How did the look come out on your eyes?

Primer:
1. Prep and Prime by M.A.C in Medium

Eyeshadows:
1. “Shroom” by M.A.C- all over
2. “Swimming” by M.A.C- lower lid
3. “Freshwater” by M.A.C- crease
4. “Humid” by M.A.C- lower outer corners/half way in crease
5. “Plumage” by M.A.C- outer lower lid only (I don’t say the name of this color in my video)
6. “Gorgeous Gold” by M.A.C- apply over lower lash line over pencil liner
7. “Retrospeck” by M.A.C- brow bone/inner corners of eye

Eyeliner:
1. Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner by L’oreal (black)- top lash line/waterline
2. “Minted” by M.A.C- lower lash line

False Lashes:
1. Fashion Lashes by Ardell- measure false lashes against your natural lashes, cut any excess of false lash you don’t need, apply lash adhesive to false lashes allow adhesive to dry for a few seconds and then apply lashes to eyes.

QtLissy’s Bag of Tricks: Ardell Lashes…Awesomeness on the cheap!

By qtli3027 On February 27, 2012 In You Tube Tutorials With No Comments Permanent Link to QtLissy’s Bag of Tricks: Ardell Lashes…Awesomeness on the cheap!Permalink

Name: Ardell Fashion Lashes
Found: At Drugstores
Price: $5.00
These lashes are so amazing because they blend in with your natural lashes beautifully. They are easy to apply and take off. The cost you cant beat for the quality that you get with these lashes. Also, if you take care of the lashes properly you will be able to use them over and over again. Below I explain how to take care of your false lashes so you can reuse them.

False Lash Care:
1. When you go to remove your false lashes, close one eye at a time and lightly slide the false lash off your natural lashes, do not pull from one corner across.

2. Remove glue that is on the band of your false lashes. The glue should pull off easily.

3. Place the false lashes back into the case they came in. Make sure to place each lash on the little rim to help keep their shape.

If you follow these steps you will get multiple uses out of your false lashes. Hope you found this helpful.
