When you have a special event coming up, exfoliate your skin the day before the event. Also, try wearing a hydrating mask for at least 10 minutes the day of an event. The extra hydration will not only allow your make up to lay smooth on the face, but will provide a natural glow to the skin.
Not that this is really a ‘secret’ but, get down to spray town! Thats right, get yourself a spray tan. Also, YES you can allow them to spray your face, but ask for it light. Its better to be too light than too dark. You can always darken your face further with make up.
FOUNDATION ON YOUR WHAT??? No! Not what your thinking… Foundation on your legs. Yup thats right! Take your foundation or ideally a foundation a few shades darker than your natural skintone (it does not have to be an expensive foundation) and mix with body lotion and apply mixture to legs. Not only will this give you a great glow but it will help to even out skin tone and cover up any imperfections.
DRINK WATER! I hear this about so many celebrities: when they have a big shoot or a red carpet event they guzzle tons of water, Water helps to release toxins from your body and helps your skin stay plump and glow. Sometimes eight glasses a day just isn’t enough, if we are even able to get that much. It is suggested, that ideally you want to drink half your body weight in ounces of spring water everyday before a big event. Bottoms UP!
Also, another problem with wearing make up to bed that some people don’t take into consideration is mascara. If you have mascara on your lashes, your lashes are naturally more brittle. If you have old dried out mascara from the day and you fall asleep with it, as you roll around in bed or rub your eyes without even knowing it while sleeping your lashes can (and do) break and fall off or OUT! Now obviously they are not all going to fall out all at once but you will lose them over time. As we age our lashes already start to fall out naturally, now sleeping with mascara only adds to this problem.

If you’re anything like me, your mornings are always go…go…GO! Sometimes we run out of the house without breakfast. One of my biggest things is, if I am working out, my glowing green smoothie is not enough for me. However, I have tried A LOT of different energy bars, and most of them taste like chalk, or they are crumbly and too messy to eat while driving. Well, I discovered a group of energy bars that taste amazing and are great for you. They are called
